The GRIP2 damper had a 20mm base valve and 7 shims, while the GRIP X2 has an oversized 24mm base valve and 23 shims. This results in more sensitivity and a wider range of adjustability within the clicks. The increased range of adjustability also means that the GRIP X2 is
